My rustler 2wd vxl is using 23pinion/ 76t spur gear. I can drift and race circuits on it all day long, no need for wheelie bars anymore. Doing average of 46mph max speed.

If you put some 1/2 oz tire weights on the front it'll kill some of that wheelie action. So you can throttle up a bit faster.

Ive used stock gearing and 3s 4250 lipo and managed to get 52.2mph out of mine the problem is finding a big open space to race it
