i like to think of it as notch and jeb the gods of the world. notch the original dreamer, and jeb now the creator. as if notch is the one who has truly beat the game, moved past it. and jeb the loud one telling the story because he is obsessed over it. creating more and more knowing not what he has done only what he can still do. notch is at peace and wants the player just to play and dream and create, and then wake up. jeb is lost in this dream to live it over and over again. wishing to warm us
