As an INFP I can tell ya that the open communications always work, even though we can feel other's emotions, up/downs, but we can always misunderstand what that mean, so often time, we become unhappy inside yet we won't tell you how we really feel, or what bothers us because we don't like conflicts, so always open communication and speak from you heart.And we can detect someone just being fake, which fake people turn us off.

This is absolutely lovely, as an INFJ I love everything about the INFP personality type. I feel like the INFP personality type is more compatible to me that the ENFP type. I think that it's because extroverts are draining. I just love spending quality alone time with my INFP and they love it too. Spending that time alone is way more fulfilling then the need to be around other people a lot. I also like to INFP's because I know that they like to be alone and that's perfect because I need time alone to recharge and to get chores and work done before I can make plans.

This is a big relief. I've just started seeing an INFP and this basically tells me I can just be myself and it's going to be fine.

I've only known one INFP and I feel like I will mourn the loss of our chance together forever. She was amazing with all the qualities you describe. We really only touched briefly, however, that connection hinted at the possibility of such depth, passion, creativity, and sharing on so many levels. Unfortunately, it wasn't our time and it didn't happen. Listening to you makes it sound like all INFPs are like that. Why are there so few of you.....? I really don't see how any other type could fulfill what I long for in a partner.
