For anyone having problems with rough or poor idle. Go under your hood and check the air intake tube from the air filter to the intake. Common problem is cracking at the very tip of the tube it suck in more air than it should and the give you rough or poor idle on park and at stops. Hope this helps you all. :)

I had the same problem clean the throttle body and idle control valve I recomend changing filter aswell check the plastic tube as well

Yep, it's either the crak on your air intake hose or EGR valve. I had the same and replaced the hose and now i fine. It was going up and down btw 400-600 rpm and now stays at 600.

Honda Accord has this problem of the engine light coming on for no reason, if your is running good don't worry about it. It's an electrical problem specially happen during winter time same like mine. And for the idle you can fix it yourself and it's worth checking the air filter and spark plugs chenge if needed.

Check your hoses my car stalled and ran terrible after someone worked on it they didn’t plug the vacuum lines back in now it runs fine

engine coolant temperature sensor? I have cleaned my throttle body on many vehicles, but never noticed a difference in any.

Mine also is a 04 2.4 accord whatever you do check before you start spending money... Did you get it fix tho?

Go to your dealer or trusty mechanic and ask them to OBD scan your car because that check engine light will throw a code hopefully it ain't that bad but sounds like its in the engine pinging and knocking

hi man we have a crack on it the intake tube that comes from the air filter box has a crack right next to the air filter box wer the tube starts from the air filter box and the 2003 Honda Accord idles high after we turn it on after 1 or 2 min it starts to idle up could that be the problem this car had been working very good after we changed the starter this shi** cam out maybe cause the new crack that happen when we moved tha air filtter box help have an idea....

I'm having that problem now I done changed my o2 sensor when I got the car about 3 months ago my car today was doing that shit I hooked up to the computer it said I need to change my MAP SENSOR I did but didn't help but a little but I found out I need new plugs so that might be why I hope it sounds like shit at a red light

i have the same problem 1999 Mercury villiger ,make me crazy ,engine light is on o2 and knok sensor is still on ,but i changing new distributor spark plags wiers crank sensor and trottil cleaning good - someon can have a good idea,for me ,,make me crazy this ,,thanks

there is none. and if there is, its in the tank as part of the pump maybe. nothing easily serviceable thats for sure. Don't change it. it does not required it.

Is that rattling noise your engine? 

whenever you have a check engine light your next step should be finding what trigger it (the ecu code)

I would get that check engine light checked first and go from there
