Currently on a Bible reading plan and The Old Testament is really teaching me that you shouldn’t tempt the Lord. I’m grateful for the mercy He shows me and everyone else everyday.

She fell so soon after her blasphemy, many thought she was just comedic acting, including me, but it soon became very clear… That is almost the equivalent of, “If I’m lying, then God strike me down!” Jesus made it perfectly clear, “Don’t take my name vain”!

Very true. I have the experience of God chiding me when my thoughts are not in His line. I'm thankful to God as a child because He rebukes those He loves. It helps us to sanctify us everyday.

The fact that God gave this woman and the pastor a quick lesson he was being merciful, and trying to get their attention. Not everyone gets His attention, and they should reflect on that and return wholly to Him. Obviously He has not given up on them. I speak from experience.

One testimony: I walked into a room being flooded with gossip by all present. I went to join in on the gossipy activity, and " I heard," someone in a male, firm voice say, Stop ! However, no one there in the house, said it. Needless to say, I chose not to join in on that gossip session. God's timing, is perfect, every time.
