"Sometimes the worst things are done with the best of intentions..." All Father Gascoigne wanted was to make his family safe, but in the end, he helped usher in their doom.

"I had all the tools. My senses were keen and my weapons ready for any foe. I have slayed every beast that crosses my path. But no matter how much skill I had, no matter how much experience, I still couldn't save just one little girl..."

The fact the narrator can only hope to be the little girl's "avenging angel" is grim as hell. He's given up on the possibility of saving her and the only comfort he can give her is avenging her death.

"It breaks my heart to say - No one will save you now..."

My reasons I want to play Bloodborne:

"I can't save you from the monsters coming

I don't think I've ever heard a song hit you with the "the health bar is empty, there's a second phase" through it's beat, you fully believe the song is about to end before it slams you with a good fourth of it left. It's literally seeing that the movie isn't close to being over after the villain is "defeated"

"No one will save you"

This song helped revitalize my love for the characters of Bloodborne. I forgot just how grim Bloodborne's story can get. A story where inaction may actually be the best choice, at least for this specific character. You aren't the hero in the grandest schemes. And that's what I love the most

This is a really sad story when you consider the fact that Gascoigne is a monster himself. Never really thought of the idea that he might have a family. This game was a fun lovecraftian mess of broken lives for sure.

The advice I learned from bloodborne, berserk and many other existentialist pontifications is: Never let your heart bleed because it will never stop.:

Gascoigne was like any normal boss didn't have any interest in him but after this song I realized how much I love his sad story

I hope I'm not alone in thinking that the longer the Aviators song, the better.
