Very nice bikes... I just purchased a 2001 vtr1000 or the 996 however you want to put it at first I purchased the bike because I got a really good deal on it but now it would take a lot to get it from me loving that V-Twin

Nice ride and upgrades. A company can convert your dash board to a color display. I would have to do that too.

Hayden and Edwards couldn't be wrong. My insurance guy agrees with yours. I bought an '03 SV1000S instead. I have never seen either bike not wrecked (except mine). You have a jewel in that bike!

If you havent yet you should do sprockets...Higher gearing and gets ride of the low end vibration. I have an '01 Hayden Replica and an '06 in black and silver. Both have the high swept Jardines. I bought the '06 with 254 miles. 8^)
