The real heros are the countless UNSC Marines who went into battle knowing full well that they probably wouldn't return. They were truly the backbone.

Missed a big point in that Spartans were overall misunderstood in general. They never took off their armor(and when they did, they were sickly pale), they did inhuman feats of speed and strength, were absolutely massive(height and weight), were raised with military training which lead to them talking "like robots" or not much at all, could stand unnaturally still, and most of the details of what they went through or even the fact that they started as children were hidden from most people. They were overall incomprehensible to anyone without most of the facts. ODST training was incredibly difficult and the idea that there was something above them was difficult to mentally grasp.

ODST: "We don't get any recognition!"

But odst carry a certain fear about them....a spartan shows up and people are like "wow a spartan were saved, never thought I'd see one." ODST shows up...people be like "damn we must be really fucked if they are dropping ODSTs here"

The only chill ODSTs were the bullfrog I feel like they had a good time with six since he also saved them while evacuating

I would like to add that because of the surgery he had massive hormone imbalance, he had a five o clock shadow and was 6’5 at 14, they clearly though he was an adult
