Doing a rolling jump is the safest way to get the O in Jungle Hijinxs. Basically let yourself roll off then jump, you should have enough momentum to make it back to safe ground without falling in the pit. A rolling jump is also another way to make long jumps with Diddy across wide gaps.

7:43 You had the right idea there. You were meant to roll off the cliff completely to jump in mid-air. While the game doesn't tell you about Roll Jumping, the "O" is one of the few clues that you can do this. Roll Jumping is incredibly useful for DK to get around things with ease(especially without Diddy).

You know, a lot of people claim that Donkey Kong is kinda stupud, but when you really look at what he's accomplished, He's really smart. He's single handedly outsmarted Mario, Defeat a mad insane Crocodile scientist, saved his country, learn to drive a go kart, and box with some professional boxers.
