Unfortunately, even after doing all the steps I'm still getting an error stating my projects are invalid, this didn't start till after I had closed the Unity Editor after transferring an avatar to VRchat. Last night I was having issues as well, and it took me a few hours to get everything downloaded. It's starting to irritate me a tad, I can't get the editor to open, I can't get my projects to open, it always tells me theres more than one instance of Unity running when I've went through and closed everything, even restarted my PC, I'm not quite sure what's going on...hopefully you'll give a response back..

Thank you so much. I've been trying to look for solutions for hours and this helped. My error message was "project failed to open please check the logs", and this solved the issue.
