I just bought one exactly like that a fewonths ago. This is my everyday carry. Love it! Not too bad of a recoil for a woman.

This was the first gun I ever bought then afterwards I bought 9 more expensive guns only to realize this little cheap gun was the one I trusted the most with my life as a defense gun. Super simple and it goes bang everytime.

Just bought one today. I have bad hands and can't pull back the slide on the 9mm, so this little revolver is the answer. Nice, lightweight, not a lot of effort to pull the trigger at all. Can't wait to take it to the range.

Great Little pistol , Taurus grips are really great for recoil taming .Your Mom should be happy with it .

I have a Taurus 605 which I absolutely love. Same snubbie as the 85 but in .357 magnum.

I just purchased a Taurus 856 Ultra Lite (same gun but with 6 rds), and really love it except for the grips. I have a set of wood grips on order. Even with the wider cylinder it fits my leather holster for my Smith and Wesson 442 (snuggly), and my Remora holster (perfectly). It seems like the quality is equivalent to the Smith and Wesson J Frame, but it's a bit too soon to say that dogmatically. So far though, I'm very pleased with it.
