This is honestly phenomenal, if the mod didn't get canceled and if rightburst wasn't a jealous man child hypocrite then this would've been exe/fakers encore sprites.

Bro, this is ungodly good. The moving, the transformation and the thinking of making mouth moving while faker talking. This needed to be in 2.0 version.

Little detail I noticed, but during the transformation, the sun starts to be engulfed in darkness, or just a solar eclipse. I really like this detail, since the second half is called “Black Sun” for a reason. Keep up the good work, lad!

I really like this re-sprite. EXE’s poses looked like he was about to snap at any given moment barring the up pose(he’s just vibin’).

This is genuinely amazing

I love how sinister he looks on his different poses, particularly that Down sprite. It fits the mood of the original sprite set's idle where you could tell that the furrowed brow is the result of active malice barely contained behind a facade of friendy competition rather than just a casual look of determination like Sonic usually has. He's actively sizing you up and determining exactly how to kill you in the most excruciating and fun way possible.

I love how psychotic his face looks, yet his body is showing more sonic like poses.

This is really good! Looks like a Faker Encore sprite. It's funny how you can only see EXE's Idle animation 2 times throughout the whole song lol. (At the very beginning and during BF's solo)
