Man the modern-day story started out so well but then quickly descended into a confusing mess due to franchise milking. They should've just made a coherent AC trilogy and then switched to a new era-hopping franchise

I don’t understand the people who say “I hate the modern day story, just give me historical stuff. Without this there is no context for anything that’s happening. I really wish this story wasn’t basically abandoned. Fortunately the way Odyssey ended opens up several possibilities if they actually stick with it
