Orthodoxy isnt saying that God is a mystery, we believe the same bible we know our God, the matter in question is the Filioque, which were centered on the heresy of the Filioque, with the difference that the Orthodox proposed the removal of the addition and the doctrine from the Nicene Creed, while the Latins defended this doctrine and even claimed that the Orthodox had removed this phrase from the Nicene Creed.
