I'd like to believe the reason Horror Mario isn't in control here is that he's not facing HIS version of MX. In my interpretation, there are two iterations of every character in the mod, the canon versions, and the Mario's Madness versions. Due to the fact this MX had control basically the entire time, we can assume this is canon MX.
