The ending of this song... where it's just instrumental and it's sweetly fading out..., it just pegs me in the soul every time.

4:10-4:45. That fading guitar outro is so amazing.

I love that they can be heavy and powerful, but they still embrace melody... so many bands don't get that - a song needs melody, even in metal... the melody is what makes the song live, makes it timeless, makes it a song you will come back to and get more out of each time you hear it...

This song has definitely become one of my favorites off this album. It's so amazing and just...wow.

OMG I totally agree! I wish the guitar outro was longer. Just recently learned this song is a reworking of a song from the Eros sessions. You can hear bits of it on the Deftones Eros behind the scenes stuff here on YouTube.

I have never seen or heard a band like Deftones, where they are not mainstream, but has the respect of many music critics and bands from a wide range of style. This song does nothing but put a big ol' kool aid smile on my face. Bless you Chi \m/

The best outro for a song I have ever heard

I get shivers when I hear this song. Hell, I get goosebumps when I hear any song from deftones. Their songs are like magic that just get you high and calm you down in the most unreasonable way.

I watch you taste it, I see your face, and I know I'm alive. You're shooting stars from the barrel of your eyes. It drives me crazy, just drives me wild.
