It’s actually a medical miracle she’s still alive at this point

Tammy is emotionally still a child. She maybe in her 30s,but her functional level,her basic skills dealing with life is very child like. Something possibly happened to her as a child, preteen or teenager that shut her brain /coping skills down and she “emotionally” hasn’t matured past that time. You can see how she uses “comedy” and some inappropriate behavior to “mask” what’s going on inside. I think her mother has a lot to do with her problems, if you have ever seen any interaction between the two,you would see what I’m talking about. You can see she fears her mama and becomes very angry and shut down in her presence, the lady is not a very pleasant person and very critical of Tammy and Amy. All Tammy has known her whole life is morbid obesity. I hate to say this,but I think the followers of this show are watching a slow death and I can’t imagine at this point Tammy turning her life around and losing weight.

She's got to be the most disrespectful person I've ever seen, honestly Tammy makes me sick to see her treat people that try to help her the way she does, it's a disgrace.

Yeah that is the rehab. I got a feeling she is going to be in skilled nursing for the rest of her life. This woman is a medical marvel. She is 600 some odd pounds. On a trach, aaaand……survived Covid. They need to write a book about her. What I do find odd is that she keeps not losing weight in the hospital. Even on a regular diet she should be dropping weight. Even with filters she looks no smaller.

Her family need to call the state and tell them that she is a danger to herself

I don't feel bad for her at all..her miserable attitude towards people that offer help is pathetic! She doesn't care about how she looks,could care less about her health,does nothing to change her situation and it's annoying as hell.I think Amy and her brother should have the show..Tammy adds nothing to the show! She also expects ppl to push her around in that soon to be busted out wheelchair and is fine with it,actually EXPECTS IT as you heard her say " that's part of the job"..I would have quit right there and left her sitting there.I can't feel for someone who does nothing to change their situation ..I'm glad you asked..

She is thriving on neg attention she thinks it cool to act like this

I don’t think any of us can judge Tammy. We have not walked in her shoes, nor have any idea how much trauma she’s been through

I can't stand her........She is rude to everyone, acts like the world should ALWAYS cater to her, never takes ANY responsibility for her choices.

Tammy is rude and disrespectful. Black men only want to use her.

It’s really hard to have compassion for people like Tammy who push caretakers and family away. She likely has a developmental disability among other psychological disabilities. She clearly needs a much larger treatment team of professionals in different fields. It’s hard to treat someone who is so unlikeable. She has some serious psychological issues preventing her from being successful. That doesn’t make her an irredeemable person who chose to live this way. I really hope that she can come to accept treatment and get the support she desperately needs.

She's to messed up emotionally. No one can help her, because she doesn't want to help herself.

I haven't seen anyone mention how Tammy isn't even mature enough to make eye contact with the people trying to help her. Surgeons, doctors, therapists etc.

She needs to give her sister a break. Selfish person!
