Oh my Lord, it is very difficult for someone to truly understand the depth of Alzheimer's. I truly believe with my heart and soul God gave you that song. My husband died of Alzheimer's in 2006. What a beautiful tribute to anyone who has loved a wonderful spouse and lost them to a horrible disease. My husband was my lover, my soul mate, my hero, and my very best friend. i watched the funeral on t.v. and was balling. especially when mrs. regan was touching his casket and then leaned down to kiss it. so sad.

I sure do miss The Gipper, a Man's Man! Anyway, so grateful he had Nancy. She was his saviour, for sure. The best Modern Day President we ever have had. Thanking God I know he was!

It's a beautiful and sentimental song. We miss you dearly President Reagan and we wish former 1st Lady Nancy Reagan, Mike and all Reagan's family be helthy. Former 1st Lady Nancy Reagan always stands by and carries Reagan ' legacy along with him and after he was gone to the heaven. It is just exactly as President 41and 43 said on President Reagan's funeral.
