I bought a Marantz 2230 in 1971. It still sounds great.

I got mine from a junk pile, saw it and asked the lady if I could have it. She said yeah take it. Got it home tested it with one speaker.. works. Dirty, missing few screws, might not be a beauty however I'll get it recapped, and cleaned up.

I found one in the trash the other day along with a Thorens TD145. The right hand channel isn’t working, looks like right hand power amp is not working, it doesn’t warm up like the left one. Preamp works fine. Will have it repaired if I can’t find an obvious problem.
