I had something similar happen to me in Wyvern's battle. I tried to Magnet Dash during the automated section on the squid-like trails and somehow got launched into orbit.

i had this same thing happen to me too. I think it happens because when you hit the end of the ramp it sends you up which is meant to try and stick sonic on the ramp. But normally you're meant to be locked in a 2.5D space but because you didn't follow the path properly but still hit the trigger, so you just go uncontrollably up.

Same thing happened to me on accident, I was fighting ninja on Kronos island and I just got sent flying into orbit. I could see all of kronos island from afar
