Description
Hunting , trapping and fishing have been a passion of mine since i was a kid. And as the years have gone by my passion has become a way of life for me and my family. I grew up on a farm in central Saskatchewan with an abundance of wildlife. I was lucky enough at a young age to learn about and respect the wildlife we have here. In the past few years i have taken a great interest in learning and growing as a member of the trapping community. I have had great response and found a band of brothers that share in the same conservation as i believe in. I hope to continue to learn and share that knowledge with other fellow trappers, so that we may learn and grow as a community. I appreciate all your feedback and i am grateful for your support.

I’ve got a hydrolic press for crimping of brass ends on electric cables and it has a lot of dies for different size cables and I trued it on my snares and it works perfectly and I got it off Amazon. Hope this helps .

Great job explaining stuff

Build mine the same way except for the heat treated nut. Quit using them because they roll out like you said. I use just a regular 3m or 4m nut, they don’t seem to roll, haven’t had any issues yet. Good vid.
Thanks great tips

Awesome shite bro, so wish I could snare here.

Do you not have to use a stopper where you are trapping ?
306ringer4 (17 hours ago)
Do you ever use 1/16 cable for snares? And what size cable do you use for your anchors?
thecamocowboyoutdoors5693 (19 hours ago)
I make mine the same way but I use a swagger. I don't use the nut though. Instead I just crimp a single stop on the cable. Haven't had any problems doing it that way .
