use monk fruit in my coffee daily. I have found that the kind I use is monk fruit with erythritol and if you use too much in baking there is a cooling affect. I do not do much baking lol.

I prefer the Monk Fruit, I found that the Stevia had a bitter after taste. The only con with Monk Fruit is it produces a lot of gas because of the ERYTHRITOL. I worry about my blood sugar and had checked it yesterday. My GLU was 130.

Not all stevia are created equal tried three different stevia finally found one with the right sweetness and it actually lowered my blood sugar, pleasantly surprised

Iβve used stevia (Swerve) to make cheesecake and found the texture to be less than optimal. Dryer than a cheesecake made with sugar. Since sugar is hydrographic (is that the term?), it retains moisture. Obviously stevia doesnβt and the cheesecakes turned out kind of crumbly instead of the creamy products that receipe always produces. The last one I made was done with stevia drops and was a lot better but here, both monk fruit and stevia drops are very expensive. We are all keto/carnivore (blood sugar issues in my case) and cheesecake is pretty much the only dessert item for special meals. And here neither sweetener is available without the sugar alcohol which I can pronounce but not spell.

I use monk fruit sweetener with erythritol (Lankanto) in my cake and muffins they taste good. Just cut down the portion you eat then you will not have any digestive issues. I tried using erythritol alone before but it does leave some cooling effect but it's not too bad.

The Stevia and the monk fruit sugars used both has erythritol in them. I saw a Stevia powder that did not have any other additives.

That was so great! Damon has had some heart issues and has been watching his weight. He has been using Stevia and I turned him onto the Monk fruit. b

Your Monk Fruit has a good amount of ERYTHRITOL it, which makes it less Monk Fruit. People buy it because its cheaper. ERYTHRITOL is horrid.

My Diabetic Grandmother uses Sweet n Low, that has Dextrose and more. I'm going to get her addicted to a 1 Ingredient 100% MonkFruit sweeter instead.
