I wasn’t at Woodstock, but many concerts I went to, people would pass a joint, a bottle of cheap Boone’s Farm Strawberry Hill wine, passed from person to person, strangers but it was OK! No worry about contracting something or getting sick. Never concerned about germs. It was sharing with your neighbors, even if you didn’t know them. God, I miss those days.

A friend was working U.S. customs in summer of 1972 when Arlo flew in from London on his way to L.A. He had much fun chatting with him. "What do you mean don't touch my bags Mr. Customs man"? Arlo fell on the floor laughing. He had no drugs at all. Cool dude.
