Rich Hall works well in Britain because he gets our sense of dry humour and sarcasm.

Rich is and has been the most welcome of our American cousins. He sums us up so brilliantly, telling us the truth about ourselves, but never insultingly. Rich is much to good and polite to do that. Long may He stay here.

Met Rich Hall in Memphis. I worked at the local newspaper. I found them to be highly intelligent and incredibly funny. I’m so glad to see that he has found a niche in Britain and a wonderful wife and family. This guy is truly Mensa material. Britain’s gain is the US’s loss.

If you want to see a British man snap, watch David Mitchell interact with Bob Mortimer on Would I Lie To You.

I was living and working in central London during the attacks, and he’s right. Though really scary, we just carried right on.

Honest, I was in the UK in the 80's when the IRA blew up an Army recruiting office in the town I was staying. At the time the bomb went off I was being transported by a friends wife to the railway station. Bricks and dust were blown out into the road in front of us and she just slowed down steering between the bricks and continued on to the station. She said "If I stopped we'd be held up all day" 8:(

Never heard of this charmingly demented gent. How is that possible?

I read his book "Things Snowball" in a cafe in Thailand. I was laughing so hard the rest of the diners joined in. I had to just pay up and leave before I finished my meal.

Just the first few seconds of him walking out in front of the crowd. You know he is where he is supposed to be.
