The only thing this system does poorly in any way is the sound. But the crunchiness reminds me of my gamegear so it's also part of the charm

This version of Genesis is the absolute closest to the real thing. I couldn't believe how well it responded compared to the other versions. Every game I play plays flawlessly. Haven't hooked it up to a TV yet tho. I give it a 9.5/10.

@Voan Siam It's not letting me install the game, it says "FAILED TO READ, PLEASE CHECK WHETHER YOU HAVE THE GAME CODE BIN FILE PLACED IN THE "GAME" FOLDER ON THE SD CARD. READ....." Please help me!!

Are there certain games this does not work for? It works for most of my games but not Zombies Ate My Neighbors or Landstalker. The title screen boots up for these two games but that's it. I've tried multiple downloads from various sites.

While I heard this portable will not accept SDHC, I tried many SD cards I have and it will accept SDHC- but just some work. I even have a 64 GB card that works.
