Description
Central Florida Bass Fishing

I live in Central Florida and spend a lot of time bass fishing on Lake Underhill, the St Johns River and Stickmarsh Farm 13. I catch and store my own wild shiners, but I use artificial bait too.

I use those jumbos for smallmouth fishing. Everybody fishing at the same spot wont be catching nothing on soft plastics, but me using the jumbos, i cant keep a line in the water. Non stop action. Especially in early April!!!

I keep the big ones and use a cane pole with small hook. Keeps them swimming good and lively bass go nuts

I live in south florida. I find a culvert in a canal, chum with quaker oats, and toss the net. Works good

I love shiners, caught my personal best on a shiner. I have to admit that recently I've been building a collection of jointed swim baits though. No bait shops in my town.

Caught you over on CPro.....Cool way to catch your own bait!

Not what I was expecting when you said shiner.....ours in NE Ontario are like a 3-4" regular minnow.

How do you set up your storage tank? Do you ever chum spots the day before? Will hog feed work as well?
BigBassin63 (2 hour ago)
Theres alot of tiny ponds in Orlando where I live an I'll pullover an throw my net.Do you ever have people stopping an Screaming at you?Saying its illegal?
Is there a particular make of chicken feed you use? I'm very interested in giving this a try. Threadfin shad can be challenging a great deal of the time and locations for those is over an hour away, plus they are not near as tough as those guys.

How long can you keep wild shiners in your tank? Also have you ever had any luck with a trap?
JamesPetit1 (21 hours ago)
After chumming the first time, when you return do you throw any more chum then the castnet or just start cast netting?
BassCamo (23 hours ago)
Well done how much $ does the chicken feed run ya ? I assume you get it at a farm supply outlet or somewhere. We pay anywhere from 8-10 $$ a dozen here in the northeast so this is great content. Keep up the excellent work glad we connected
Thanks for visiting.you have a great channel
