I watched this show as a child and I at one point hated the show, but loved the song. I am from Zimbabwe and the tv broadcaster in my country always repeated the episodes that it was just hard to follow. However as time went on I began to listen more to the story line and was hooked even when they repeated shows and jumbled up the episodes. My diligence paid off and I finally saw the last episode. I thanked myself for not giving up on it, it was a great story.

Cartoons in the 1980's were extremely deep and thought provoking. The storyline got you hooked into their world. Better than today's crap.

"Ever since the time of the Great Cataclysm, the Arkadians have lived deep in the center of the Earth. They believed they were the only survivors of this great devastation. Their civilization thrived under the power of their sun, the Tehra... until it began to fail. In desperation, the children of Arkadia broke the law and entered the forbidden Archives, searching for a solution. What they discovered gave them hope. Anxiously, they used their special powers and created a messenger to the people above. They named her Arkana."

Amazing to find this many people, all different in race, gender, upbringing and backgrounds who all found something we all had and have in common... We all, at a pure time in our lives, just being humans were all moved and fell in love with a TV show and a theme song that will forever forever be magic to us all.

This is too deep to be just a theme song... That last bit has had me wanting to cry since 2002!
