I had that happen just the other day! Granted, the person killed was the new doctor I had just recruited. They were fighting in the front line as a melee enemy had just run up to them. I think the raider had managed to bonk them once on the arm with a club when my own pawn missed the raider and shot the new guy straight through the heart.

The opposite of this, I had one of my colonists get the head completely cut off by a single arrow. I love Rimworld

I had this happen in the opposite: Raider, 0 shooting, with a shotgun, dodging all shots from before, outright killing my pawn with a Bolt-Action Rifle hiding behind a tree and with a flak vest on, with a shot through the heart on his first shot. Day 2, might I add.

I swear that anomaly doubled chance of getting your heart shot.
