I love teaching people how to repair their cars and trucks.

My original motivation: MPG. We all want better numbers, but do we really know how to get them? Let us learn that to get results is to have fun! There are tricks that it took many mechanics decades of experience to figure out and perfect.

This is why I'm into cars since I got my first car. It's been my passion ever since.

Since then, I've become even more passionate about car repair. So much car repair will effect your car's miles per gallon, so by becoming a mechanic it's an extension of my goal all those years ago.

Subscribe and hit the bell to follow my path, our path, forward, together.

Hello!
networth8754 (10 minutes ago)
I plan to use a hoist from above to lift the bed (tied off) jack stands on each side and a brace for additional safety. Thanks
Badgertronix (17 minutes ago)
Nice work. That's a lot of effort for a fuel pump!
jayline8250 (27 minutes ago)
I had to replace the fuel pump in a 92 Chevy van and 97 f150, both times I cut thru over the pump giving me easy access to replace them, afterwards I just cut a piece of metal then used a high grade sealer and installed a hatch that fitted flush, lot easier than dropping a tank or tilting the bed

When replacing the pump. Does the line from where you take off. From the pump fitting Will be the exact line connection from the new pump fitting. So theres no way you can miss line them?

Hi DE Nichols,

Would it be easier to work on if you just dropped the fuel tank? It looks very difficult and tight the way you are doing it. Is it the Nissan manual method? Not a criticism...just asking.

My 2006 frontier king cab has to have the pump key ring socket.
SteveRobReviews (1 hour ago)
Nice one, I have done the tilt bet deal but from side to side not frt to rear. I think a Silverado will hit the cab hum not sure. Excellent commentary buddy well done.

Was your Nissan Frontier the 2.4 L 4 Cylinder or the 3.3 L V-6?
abeldubon9120 (17 hours ago)
