Worked like a charm! Just had an issue with my lock as I type this right now and it finally opened after spraying it on. Thankfully I was stuck at the gas station and was able to purchase one just like that

Thank you! This worked great! However, in my case, it was because the lock was frozen over AND a dying battery on the key fob so none of the doors would unlock with just the key fob. I sprayed a ton (and I mean A TON) of wd-40 into the driver key hole, and was able to get into my car but the lock froze up again so I couldn't open the driver door (could have climbed out the window or other doors, I guess lol).. Fortunately I had a pair of pliers in my car & yanked the lock up from the inside and sprayed more wd-40 into the keyhole! Oh yes! On the road again!

I have a Honda Fit, and had this same key issue. And being locked out in the rain at the office is NOT fun. Had some Wd40 stashed in my closet. It's going in better. Thank you!

Thanks! A spray of some WD-40 worked like a charm. Saved me a visit to the Lock$mith.

I use QD Electronic Cleaner. It cleans good and doesn't leave residue. WD40 or other lubricants attract dirt over time.

Pro tip: don't use WD-40 in locks.

Worked once, the first time I did it. After that, didn't work. Good idea just not for all problems no matter how similar. Blew it all out with my compressor after I was done to get the WD40 out. Thanks for the hope.
