Hi! I just finished reading this series and reviewing it on my channel so I thought I would put in my two cents. One of the things you said you didn’t get is that Cardan never seemed to redeem himself. I completely agree and that’s actually what I love about Cardan and Jude’s enemies to lovers plot. In most enemies to lovers books both characters end up showing their true colors … they are both good guys! In this book Cardan is really evil and softens slightly as he takes responsibility for the crown. Jude starts good and becomes more morally gray as she becomes involved in sketchy stuff. So I loved how they landed in a morally gray area together. (P.s. I totally agree with the tail being weird lol)

As someone who loves folk of the air, and hates acotar (but have still read all the books its like a like/hate) they are definitely nothing alike. I feel like folk of the air is way more fairy-ish while acotar is more like immortals, but they dont seem like fae to me. Love watching reviews by ppl w diff opinions, you're def right about that (I had to pretend the tail didn't exist too tbh ha)

Hey Jessi! I know you love ACOTAR, I'm absolutely obsessed with it and finished the whole series in a week lol, but I HIGHLY reccomend that you read the Throne of Glass series. It is also by Sarah J. Maas and the fantasy plot and romance is on point! It is so easy to get attached to the characters and you'll be looking at fanart for hours. I just want to say keep up the good work and I'm so glad that you made a book-themed YouTube channel. Us bookworms have to stick together!
