I like how every bystander acted shocked that she did that like they didn't all just collectively group bully her 4 minutes earlier.

The most infuriating part of this scene is that it's so true. When someone bullies and belittles another person, everyone laughs and points along with them, but when that person fights back, all of a sudden, THEY'RE the bad guy and the bully never deserved that.

Angela’s actress really nailed her character, I’ve rarely hated a character more

This was honestly one of the most satisfying scenes in the whole season for me lmao, it’s like every time eleven was suffering and unable to fight back I just wanted to see her stand up for herself so bad and then when she finally did it was like a massive relief.

She deserved it! She knew Eleven’s father was dead and shared that with the class how he was a hero. And then she embarrassed her in front of Mike and everyone. And she ultimately took it too far and made Eleven give her something worse than spilling smoothies on their shirt, blood leaking from her ugly face!

I love how she cries over a minor injury. Brings out a big part of her character. So babied and spoiled she'd never experienced being human before

This was such a brilliant moment. It’s the perfect mix of shock and satisfaction. You know hitting her is wrong and is only going to make more problems for El, but at the same time you get a thrill as you know she deserved what was coming for her due to her bullying El creating a similar degree of emotional damage instead of physical.

You are basically asking for a death sentence the moment you mock the family of someone, especially if they're dead

Bro I hate how she was proud of bullying Eleven by humiliating her, making fun of her dead dad(she didn’t he was alive) and recorded her humiliation. Then when Eleven claps back she cries about getting her when she probably hurt many others in her life much worse

I love how when Angela turns around to face El, there’s a brief second where she knows what’s about to happen to her

People need to realize that their actions have consequences. People need to realize that the person they view as "less than them" could retaliate. This applies in real life as well.

This is very realistic. If someone constantly bullies a "weak" person, in this case El, who is at a new school, didn't have a normal upbringing, presumably lost her father, no one batted an eye. But once she found the confidence to strike back, she became the bad person. This proves that society wants weak people to remain weak, like doormats, and the popular ones will walk all over them.
