I voted for this as the Best Upbeat at Anime Boston. I’ve never even seen Urusei Yatsura, and this AMV spoke to me. There’s this sense of absolute freedom in Lum, she can just do whatever she likes through the way she can fly and blast energy, and she’s choosing, basically, to stick with this boy, revolving around him like a joyful satellite, soaking up the joy she gets from being around him.

The first scene with the spinning spaceships and the music syncing had me convinced this was going to be good. Great job!

Easily the best entry at MTAC. No question. The editing and pacing of this was too damn good and a clear cut above the rest.

Just saw this at Anime Festival Orlando and it was great! Love to see more Urusei Yatsura love.

So fun & sweet, 80s anime in a nutshell.

Urusei Yatsura has been on my to-watch list for a while, and seeing this AMV has bumped it up a number of notches. There's just something wholesome about returning to 80s anime like this, Ranma 1/2, and Dirty Pair.
