This is cool and all, but did you know that a stormtrooper hit his head in 1977

I've seen someone say that Dave doesn't seem like a Star Wars fan, but rather a fan of Star Wars content he made.

Finally someone is say what needs to be said about Filoni instead of blindly hailing him as the “Savior of Star Wars”

Ahsoka should have died in Order 66.

Filoni and his consequences have been a disaster for consistency

Dave is a tourist at best. It's clear his understanding of Star Wars is surface-level, and that's being generous. He's like a crow finding something shiny on Wookieepedia articles. He also has a deeply-unhealthy obsession with his OCs, Rex and Ahsoka.

Dave is literally telling us that Star Wars continuity is whatever anyone can see it as, there is no main continuity, that idea has been long gone since T-Canon arrived.

ki adi mundi age WAS NOT THE ISSUE! It was the fact that he saw the events of the acolyte and HE HIMSELF SAID “but there has been no sith for over a millennia”

Also, difference between Lucas and Filoni is very simple:

I feel that Filoni was the beginning of the end for Star Wars, not Disney. They just enabled him and propped him up.

Many have pointed out that TCW is inconsistent with not only the EU but even the movies themselves. People like to talk about how Anakin and Grievous keep narrowly avoiding meeting but then of course Obi-Wan and Grievous keep fighting for some reason which then makes Grievous telling him he's been trained in the Jedi arts pointless because Obi-Wan would already know that after dueling countless times. Obi-Wan and Anakin also meet Dooku multiple times in the show which undermines "this time we'll do it together" in RoTS. Anakin doesn't even really act like his movie counterpart. I've gotten up to about halfway through season 3 of TCW and I think it's a mixed bag. I definitely prefer the micro-series and Republic comics which I've recently started reading. TCW isn't even all that hardcore by comparison.

I thought the Issue with Ki Adi was with his quote of "The Sith have been Extinct for over a thousand Millenia". His involvement in the show brought that into question.

Here to point out obligitorialy that the EU hirearchy was nowhere near as messy as people keep acting like it was and alot of the misconceptions have been spread falsely and in bad taste
impcit5717 (13 hours ago)
The one thing I would like to understand about Filoni is the obsession with Ahsoka.
PrettyboyAshtun (6 hours ago)
first started by giving anakin a padawan completely out of nowhere.

The Tartakovsky Clone Wars still just about fits plot wise.

That first clip is very telling. Not just for story canon, but visual continuity as well.
