I most likely will be expanding my videos to some minecraft and fishing vid's
I will stick to my core video's with vlogging on my bike so don't get to upset if i put up something your not interested in. i will all ways come back to vlogging.
Thanks for all the views and subs. Makes me feel loved

Chain wear - 30,000km is fine for the oem chain.

I have drooling for that bike for a while now and cannot decide between it and the fz07. Thanks for the review it's nice to know the bike is pretty solid after that much riding in a short amount of time.

The CB500 F/R/X are all pretty bombproof. They're cheap and cheerful to buy, reliable and cheap to maintain. I have done 35000 klms with no trouble so far. The OEM chain died at about 24000 Klms and I recently replaced the 5 y.o OEM battery. Put a decent set of Pirelli tyres on at 16000 and they've still got some life in them, which has really surprised me. The only real shortcoming in my view is the suspension which is fairly ordinary, but not surprising at the price.

After clicking on a dozen other so called reviews of the CB500X (which are just pictures and annoying music) I finally clicked onto your review. Thanx.

I lube my chain every 300 miles. That amount of chain play is really dangerous.

This is great to know! From the US here and am strongly considering this bike for my one and only daily transportation so I can sell my van to cut my debt in half. I'm really starting to love this cool little bike.

Just got one of these and love it. Most comfortable bike I've ever had.

I hate to tell you this. If your chain is shot, so are your sprockets. Worn sprockets will wear out a new chain. When you lube your chain, spray or oil the inside of the chain so that lube flows through the chain before it flies off.

Don't forget you need to CLEAN your chain as well as lubing it :) all the chain lube and road dirt builds up and creates that black gunk stuck onto the chain, I've got white spirit in a spray bottle and I clean it (with a chain brush) every other time I lube it

By the looks of that chain you better check your sprockets, if they are even a bit worn change them or your new chain will not last long. You should not run your bike with a chain that loos if it breaks it can do a lot of damage, I stopped to help a girl once and her chain went through the gear box, a very costly repair.

30k with a chain is actually not bad at all.

nice that someone admits to dropping their bike.. instead of blaming the previous owner ..

Finally organised a test ride for one of these for next week. Hoping it lives up to all the positive reviews I keep seeing.

Chains really don't "stretch" they wear. They don't really need "lube" as much as a wax to protect from moisture as well as lube. And they do need to be replaced often depending on the power of the bike and riding style.

Great job on the review buddy, Subbed you as well. Been looking at this bike for a while now, I like the fact that is is still light weight and not a maintenance hog like some of the Dual Sports out there. Keep up the great work.
