I am a retired RCMP Officer living in a rural setting in Nova Scotia, Canada. I spend my time enjoying nature and feeding my furry friends, the raccoons. I also feed the deer in the winter months and many varieties of birds. I have two rescue cats named Connor and Charlotte.

That sort of happened to me once while camping in the '90's. One night I saw a racoon come close to my campfire so I tossed it a piece of my bagel. Suddenly I see all these glowing eyes appear around my campsite, lol.

These lucky racoons get a fruit starter, hotdog main and cookie dessert, then the dog biscuits for the fourth course. No wonder they are so chubby. Such a kind, gentle man.

We don’t have Racoons natively in England but they seem like smart, funny, lovable little critters It’s heartwarming to see your kindness to them.
