Black Mesa's portrayal of the HECU really hits me hard unlike most games, having been a marine myself once, the level of 'connection' I feel when the marines are talking makes me think they either had a real marine as a resource or they really nailed ACTUAL research. It's so genuine and so heartbreaking when you think about it from that perspective.
