I recently played Sonic Adventure and unlocked Metal Sonic. I'm not entirely sure if anyone else did this, but if you play it like a story as well mission based, it's as if Metal is sent after Sonic, and after surpassing Sonic in speed, he then sets his red sights on Dr. Eggman. Doing the boss battles under the Trial's Sub Games also makes it feel like Dr. Eggman freaks out about this, and somehow either resurrects or makes a clone(?) of Chaos only to send him after Metal Sonic, and the Doctor then attempts to attack his very own, sleek creation.

Another amazing tune dude!! Im so putting this in my playlist. Keep up the amazing work dude!!!
