I have a feeling he wasn't allowed to say anything bad in the phone calls cause he always reassures you that it's fine and always goes uhh or pauses like he was about to say something wrong but on this night he doesn't care about being fired and just tells him to survive.

People don’t give Scott enough credit for his voice acting skills, he’s able to make you feel like something isn’t right with the way he talked, giving you a sense of dread.

Imagine going to work for extra hours on a saturday night and you get a phone call asking you why are you there and telling that someone used one of the suits. And you get trapped in there for 6 hours only because you made the mistake of working on saturday.
