Saving Nightcrawler is the good ending. Saving him is the main objective. Jean Grey didn't die and she'll come to her senses just like she did when Arcade controlled her and like her echo did in this battle. It just looks like a bad ending, because it's a cruel trick.

I tried saving them both doing this too and the same thing happened - both cages dropped, you can hear Jean but when you go continue, it's Jean you fight and who dies.

I tried the same thing as a kid and I found it really funny

Such a shame only nightcrawler was DLC while Jean was left to die and become dark Phoenix

All these ideas wouldve been great story modes for avengers , perhaps someday soon

Best to save Nightcrawler or Mystique will kill Xavier and the X-Men will disband forever in the bad ending.

Save jean grey is more safe if chose Kurt Jean Grey become Dark Phoenix and she will destroy Earth.

I'm replaying this game, why couldn't nightcrawler teleport out? Or why couldn't jean use her powers here?
