Happy to see a new Bagamanoc not like when I was there, 1967-68, as a member of the Army Engineers that started the road connecting the town to the northeastern part of Catanduanes, Pandan. During that time, there's no entertainment places or restaurants or resorts but just small sari-sari stores where I drank "Tuba" with friends especially Teachers and people have to go to Virac for their shopping needs but enjoyed my time there for about 8 months as the residents welcomed us and very accommodating.
