You know, I think I figured out why this worked so well for NASCAR (more than just being a kickin' piece of trailer music). The combination of the Country/Southern Rock sounds and the bombastic sports epic music really suited what was appealing about watching NASCAR. It's an obvious callout to the sport's roots in the heart of the South, while also having that larger than life presentation deserving of any major sport. Might also help that it gets me ready for DW to start screaming BOOGITY BOOGITY BOOGITY BOYS!
