My friend brought his Chevy truck to check because of misfire symptoms. It’s didn’t have a check engine light on. The problem was that the coolant sensor was bad. It is located on the head on the engine on the driver side. Change the sensor and magic the truck stop shaking...hard to believe that stupid sensor would make the truck shake bad!

nothing is wrong with my truck no engine lights on or anything, but sometimes it idles a little too high say around 1150 to 1200 RPM, it usually sits just under 1000 around 800, but today i noticed it doing it more often, how would i fix that?

Brake fluid cleaner on a throttle body? Better just to go to your local parts store and buy the actual throttle body cleaner

mine is all black on the inside and idles like crap, ill try clean it as best as i can than im trying out seafoam.

I have a 2008 Avalanche... and just started running rough today and check eng light flashing... low miles 46k. Any ideas?

Was the rough idle causing check eng light to come on? And if so, did it go off after cleaning the intake?

This guy didn't want to use other chemicals in the throttle. But he didn't might using break cleaner.

Man you should be very careful about electronic valvebody!its can chop you fingers plus you can damage internals!

Use throttle body cleaner!
