Wow, this man is spot on! Religion is created by men. Jesus would probably not even recognize the organized Church...we ARE the church... the body of believers... not an address.

As a Coptic Christian Orthodox, I finally found freedom, peace & God outside of religion. Without the nagging guilt & shame, emotional blackmail from the church. I wish everyone grows out of it

I knew I was on the right track not going to "church".

I literally tell everyone when they ask my religion-

Jesus says “ go into your room where it is just you and your father and pray, do not pray in the streets and synagogues like the hypocrites” this tells me everything I need to know about what Jesus wanted. There would be no Catholic Church if Jesus had anything to do with it

One of the most difficult things to face in life is when the church hurts you. Part of the reason it is so challenging is that you expect church to be a safe haven. It’s one thing when people who don’t profess to know Jesus hurt you. It’s an entirely different scenario when those who know Jesus do the same thing. In boxing, there is a saying that the punch that hurts the worst is the one you don’t see coming. For many of us, this is exactly how church hurt feels. It’s the punch you don’t see coming or even expect and that is the one that does the most damage.

Finally someone who makes sense, i believe in the teachings of jesus, but scared to death of the religion and church telling everyone there gonna burn in hell for whatever reason,
