Interesting. But I wonder if it would be possible to implement the Wii/PS2 version’s way of medal collecting in the sense that you are awarded with Sun and Moon medals depending on how well you do on stages. That would incentivize people to get good at the stages and play the game more.

As someone playing through the game for the first time, would you recommend I play with or without the mod? I will still collect all the medals but I found the lack of abilities as werehog to be a bit slow at the beginning.

Does this also work for RPCS3? I have "improved_progression_8a59c.zip" installed in the Unleashed Mod Manager but when I launch the game with the mod manager it doesn't seem to apply any changes. The first Tornado level isn't being skipped for example. I have the game updated to patch 1.02.

Ayo are you figuring out how to get this working on the recomp?? i've been trying to get it working but the mod manger won't recognize it.

I don't see why people create all these mods to remove perfectly fine gameplay mechanics and collectables that MADE the game. You get plenty of EXP in this game, maxing out is easy. And so is collecting a few medals here and there...
