For me, the true WT jump scare is when your landing flaps unexpectedly come off during landing. Gives me a heart attack every time.

The higher you go, the less air resistance there is. Thus increasing the missiles range. You should have started diving to make the missile go into thicker air and to increase your own speed.

Those aren't radar guided missiles. You could have just engage a dive and shut your engine off and the missile would have probably lost the lock. Easy
