The Filipino community are some of the best people, some multi generational Canadians and some new Canadians. They work incredibly hard and contribute greatly to this nation. This should not happen here or to anyone, but for this atrocity to happen to this community especially is utterly heartbreaking. My prayers for everyone who has been affected.

im tearing up while watching this. seeing how peaceful the event is. seeing the lolos, lolas, aunties, uncles, kuyas, ates with face paintings, people dancing, singing, playing games -- after hearing about what happened in the news -- my heart and soul cries for my kababayans there. stay brave, stay strong, stay united.

My niece and nephew were spared. They were in that event and ate Filipino street food and went home straight after. After just a few minutes, they heard the news.Good Lord, he protected them and I'm grateful to God Condolences to the families of the casualties and may the injured people be healed immediately.
