Fantastic Video! picked up the vacuum tester at Harbor freight for $39 bucks and it had all the things I needed for testing. Turned out to be the VSV valve which should OHM out at around 20 ohm's for a good one. I had two smog shops that couldn't figure it out and drove me nuts! YOUR THE BEST!!

Thanks ,just fixed this code It was the vss, not that hard to get to from under car. Oreilys had the part about 60.00 Liftetime warranty

Also check the vacuum line that activates the EGR valve. It too should have 20'' of vac when the engine is revved to 3000 rpm.

Update. After performing the EGR valve test as described in my earlier comment, guess what? Next time I drove the car the check engine light was off! This kind of thing has happened to me often enough that I have a name for it, the "test fix." You test something without making any attempt to fix it and suddenly the problem is gone. Anyway, thanks for giving me the test to fix it with, good vid!
