i hate when all of a sudden the washer stops working!

My whirlpool 2DWTW4705EW1 when i plug it in I heard 2 click sound then I press the turn on button no lights come on, and I am experiencing shortage in the plug cord. Have this machine about 3yrs now. What can I do to get it working.

Whirlpool is the worst never me and this kinda washer again. The machine is filled with water but when time for the cycle to wash it made a noise and beep and it didn't start wash. Then it made a loud noise like a sqeak sound and about 20mins after wheen I came outside I heard it washing normal. What could of been the problem there?

Just tried this washer for first time since delivery. Did not work. Ughhhhh. They can come and get this thing already.

I have had several washers in the past. This is the worst I have EVER had. Whirlpool is a TERRIBLE brand. Their customer service is even worse. Don't try to call the question line--it is just automatic and they you to pay for a service call. Don't try to go to their website either. They claim you can ask questions and talk to someone in service, but they just take you to another website and charge you for it. Whirlpool is horrible.

I got a washer like yours and it have the one light in the front stay on but won’t wash or anything how can we fix it

You say it is simple and just a couple screws to open the top and check the switch - BUT YOU DIDN'T SHOW WHERE THE SCREWS ARE. Most folk don't know or have a clue what screws you are talking about.🏻‍️
