Okay, hear me out: Trepang-style game set in the world of Signalis, planet-hopping in your fight against the Eusan Empire, ending with a suicide mission as a last-ditch cleanup attempt of Sierpinski-23. Maybe as some unseen specialised combat Replika or a comically buffed LSTR. With some good enemy variety, unique planetary settings, and a touch of cosmic horror, I think it'd go hard

Showing the cutscenes from different angles is refreshing and makes the game almost new

Signalis gang.

The "Signalis" OST actually fits the "Trepang2" vibe. Not quite the same obviously but in terms of the overall S.C.P. and Backrooms esque horror over tone that is the "Trepang2" universe. Many of the things prevalent in "Signalis" would be right at home in "Trepang2" as a side mission covering the shit Horizon or other Anomalous dealing Organizations got up to that Task Force-27 has to deal with.

Honestly, Signalis' use of "Bioresonance" was such a beautifully horrific, well-executed portrayal of cosmic horror, imo.

This game is SCP but the foundation went public and used the anomalies for profit and you are the Chaos Insurgency's only hope, Subject 106. (Maybe that's not a good thing...)
